The Tularosa Lady Wildcats finished second in the Class 2A state volleyball championships held at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho on Nov. 13-14, 2009. Tularosa finished first in its pool and defeated Navajo Prep and Jal to reach the title game, then fell to Texico in the title match.
This album also includes photos from the Class 5A quarterfinals involving Las Cruces, Mayfield and Gadsden.

The 2009 District 3-5A cross country championships were held Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Field of Dreams in Las Cruces. The Alamogordo Lady Tigers won the team title, while Shawnee Hoyt and J.C. Teske claimed the individual titles.
